Nexans recognized as a European Climate Leader 2024

We are proud to announce that Nexans has been recognized as one of the European Climate Leaders 2024, according to a prestigious list compiled by the Financial Times and Statista. This recognition highlights our commitment to sustainability and our ongoing efforts to reduce our carbon footprint.

Progress in Sustainability

Nexans has made significant strides in reducing Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions. These core emissions include those from our own operations and the energy we use. Through innovative technologies and strict sustainability measures, we have successfully reduced our emissions intensity over the past five years (2017-2022).

Transparency and Collaboration

In addition to reducing emissions intensity, Nexans is also recognized for our transparency in reporting Scope 3 emissions, which arise from our supply chain. We work closely with renowned sustainability assessors such as CDP and the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) to meet and exceed our sustainability goals.
